CIM Douro
HOST Douro is an international event born in the heart of the Douro Valley, created with the purpose of exploring new perspectives on hospitality. Under the theme Tomorrow’s Harvest, it opens space for reflection on the future, blending tradition and innovation in a unique territory.
The visual identity was built around a central axis: typographic treatment. Inspired by the idea of a future harvest — growth, transformation, renewal — we developed a living, adaptable typographic system, where letters merge, expand, and interconnect in multiple compositions. A visual metaphor for the natural cycle: organic, in constant motion, and always evolving.
Another key element was the connection to the Douro itself. Color plays a central role here, evoking vitality and contemporaneity, while also reflecting the vibrant energy that defines the region.
The result is an identity that asserts itself through modernity while maintaining an intimate dialogue with the territory. A flexible visual language, adaptable to multiple applications, yet always preserving a constant principle: a future of hospitality rooted in the Douro, but oriented towards tomorrow.
